Waiting Poem by Yilma Tamiru

Waiting

Rating: 2.7

The train has gone...
Passing by the hills of love
Through the tunnel of memory
And over the mountain of smile
Every one inside was smiling
And I am waiting for you to come…
The sun has gone between the mountains
Mountains of patience
Peace and new horizon
The moon is no longer their
No more keen to see us
Unite again and smile
It’s already getting dark, honey
I am the only one out side
Alone, in the middle of cold
Tears and shivering,
Shaking my all body
And I am waiting for you to come…
Oh! the wind. Waving my scarp,
Over my shoulder
Like a wing of a weak bird
That can not fly any more
Whispering through my ear…
Burning my cigarette
And sending the smoke to my eyes
But through whisper
Of the wind, has hared your voice
And I know you are coming
You are coming with the sun
Rising in my heart
There no more will be dark then
And I am waiting for you to come
Soon you finish your things…
Done…….
