Waiting Poem by Kranthi Pothineni

Waiting

Rating: 5.0

Ocean is still and calm
Breeze is cool and warm
Sun is bathing in charm
I sat down gazing it long
To hear my beats song

Sun glowed after its bath
Water too glittered like gold
Waves danced in grace
I sat down admiring that phase
While lighting a smile on face

Clouds came and passed
Sky dressed the ocean skin
Dark shades sailed into sand
I sat down cheering its reach
Like fulfilling a deepest wish

Sun moved away from blue
Slowly its fire too got dull
So it went to rest in peace
I still sat until its too dark
Waiting for morning to break

Waiting for the sunset and the morning simultaneously is an interesting phenomenon, Kranthi.

nice simile, well embedded into this poem between two visual metaphors, which are used to personify two elements of the nature : ''Sun glowed after its bath Water too glittered like gold Waves danced in grace'' wonderful descriptive poem about the nature, lovely to read....10++++++++
