watching her laying on a bed
waiting for her turn
to get the endoscopy
done,
she is staring at the ceiling
worried, anxious about the
unknown,
across from her
at the desk, an old asian lady
all grey hair, smile on her face
answering phones
wait wait....
it's your turn, Kelly
waiting.....
ah....seems a long time
in the waiting room
now it is my turn
all full of anxiety
unknown fears creeping inside
not sure what to do
or what will I do
I wonder.....
if this will ever end
I wonder....
if this new year will
ever turn for the best? ?
