He lives his life in wait for tomorrow
He hopes in it he will live a life fulfilled
He's hesitant to try, patiently waiting
He sees his fortune, it lies ahead.

He waits on time to share his heart
he lives closed in for the day ahead
he lives for it in all he does.

He waits on time to show her love
yet the love she seeks lies not in time,
for the love she seeks is in him.

He waits on time to show he cares
yet the care she seeks lies not in time
for the care she seeks lies with him.

He lives his life in wait for tomorrow
the sun will set the sun will raise
He waits long for what lies within.
