Waiting For The Rain To Stop Poem by Jayne Know

Waiting For The Rain To Stop

Rating: 4.5

Empty eyes
Black skies
Clouded mind
That won't unwind

It rains everyday
She can't make it go away
If she could she would
She should
But one would say her will is weak

Eyes leak
Words are hard to speak
When she drowns in sorrow
Dreading to still exist tomorrow

Despair lurks around
Drowning out the sound
Of her silent screams of pain
Aching to end the rain.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's not that good. It's not about me. Who it is about is not important, I'm just sharing my expression.

A depressed mind at its lowest ebb well depicted in the poem. A beautiful poem, well articulated and insightfully penned with lovely rhyme scheme. A nice poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
