Wake Up Poem by Sahra Hussein

Wake Up

Rating: 5.0

If you are feeding your desires like sheep
You may rethink and wake yourself up from sleep
Because you have no link with the genuineness,
You will continue to be sightless
Until you will be like slaughter sheep
Who sees the sky the day of its death?

If you consider hereafter
There wouldn't be laughter
Because devil put you in his shelf
And you are here, enjoying yourself
The life on this cosmos lasts like bubble
We live enjoying it, yet it is so humble

Don't look down, take glance
And don't miss the chance
Because all you have temporary

Allah is near you and always be there
Just submit yourself and make the player
And never lose the hope as he said
"'39.53': Say: O my servants!
Who have acted extravagantly against their own soul
do not despair of the mercy of Allah;
surely Allah forgives the faults altogether;
surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful."
