Walking Poem by Leonard Lee

Walking

Walk three steps and think about it...
suddenly you realise your shoes don't fit...
do you stop and throw it away?
or it's 'oh well' that you'll say?

walk a few steps more and you stop...
now you see a dirty spot...
hide it or flaunt it, it's up to you...
who cares what eles you do...

then walk to the edge of the floor...
thinking how its like to soar...
like a bird taking its first flight you jump...
the wind whispers a hum...

as you fly past people behind the windows...
you think 'hmm.. soon i'll meet my shadow..'
a few seconds last forever...
you start to think, waht you did was clever...

sooner rather than later you hit the ground...
something happened, you lost your frown...
what happens now its up to you...
who cares what eles you do...
