Walking Poem by Warren Augustus de Guzman

Walking

On and on
You walk your way
Asking no questions
So as not to delay

On and on
You walk your way
With no direction
So as not to delay

On and on
You walk your way
No movement cessation
So as not to delay

On and on
You’ve walked your path
And upon reflection
You find a delay
Might have pointed you
In the right direction.

Cause you’re now lost
With no means of backtracking
Or recalling
Or even retracing
Where you’ve gone
And what you’ve done
Lost,
And you’ll never find your way.
