A brief smile flickers across my depressed face
We once were great friends but i dropped out of the race
I am strolling home from another harsh day
When i see your face going the opposite way

Why the F*** did i even start
just for YOU to break my heart? ? ?

We say 'hi' to each other, the only word
no hugs and kisses that i would have preffered
We swiftly move on, did she find out the truth?
Did she know i loved her? There ain't any proof

Why the F**- did i even start

I look over my shoulder, her back now faces me
She strolls into the distance, how can she be so free?
