Walking Into Love Poem by Richard Thacker

Walking Into Love

Rating: 5.0

I will take a short, quiet walk with you
let us look about us
at what is there
But not speak of it now.
let us take the others hand
and feel the walk of the other
and the relaxed tension of our muscles
will speak to one another
and I will look at you as you bend under a limb
and as you step over stream
or balance the walk through waist deep river
and as you brush back briars for passing through
I will judge your capacity for life..
and you will judge mine..
and we will decide if we are worthy of the journey
to the depths of one another..
Love you Girl

Richard
