Walking The Dog On The Tip Of An Iceberg Poem by Bob Williams

Walking The Dog On The Tip Of An Iceberg

Rating: 5.0

We walk in sweet harmony
We walk to stop and see the fountain
We walk to say on the path
Then
She sees a fly and gives a tug
She hears the wind and gives a bark
She feels my loneliness and gives a bite

We walk in sweet harmony
We walk to stop and see the fountain
We walk to stay on the path
Then
She sees an ant and disobeys
She hears the footsteps and comes to a halt
She feels my loneliness and gives a bite

We walk in sweet harmony
We walk to stop and see the fountain
We walk to stay on the path
Then
She sees a light and leaves a present
She hears the future and glares at me
She feels my loneliness and runs away
I now see

I walk in my loneliness
I walk to get where I'm going
I walk to make my own
