Walls - Poem by John McAdam

Walls, boundries, prisons
dictators, leadership, destruction

great walls, great walls,
crumble as castles fall,
many appauled
at the stones to be hauled

separating nations,
surrounding stations,
withholding patients,
you will find a wall

great wall of China
great wall of Berlin
both withstand a tank blast
but both are walls

withhold information in the bathroom
withhold men from escape
keeping crazy men in their place
all can't work without walls

children in class
all so bored
but they can't run away
because they are trapped
by walls!
