Walls Of The Valley Poem by Harish Mudaliar

Walls Of The Valley

In praise of lords
dedicated to defend the
beautiful corner of the holy land
curbing the upraise of evil power

Malicious icy storm, raucous of thunder
else other natural horrors that
may scare the beastly spirit shall come
but the hard fisted stone hearted men
on the lines of the spiritual land
would ever face the fury of death

cold blooded warriors and the
mightiest men may disappear
mountains the graves of men who never betrayed
valleys and rivers the onlookers of bloodshed
trees that breathe the names of the immortalized souls
would ever quote the memoirs of their pride
those real men shall never perish
from the heart of the blessed land
