War Poem by Tiffani Williams

War

The rushing wind come out his mouth
signaling the war within
her heart
it holds no meaning, none at all
still the armies begin to masscre
one side pretexting his verbal lies
the other, truly on her side
he's eyes stare hoping she believes
the lie he's just uttered
watching the war with excitment
blood pours inside her heart
the truth and excuses are ripping her apart
finally, surrender rings out
and she smiles
and her insides shout
and she says i love you too
the victory cry of all the excuses
