War Poem by Sean Tundulin

War

Can you hear the doves plaintive cry
As it watches the war that never dies
And feels the pain of fallen men
That gave their lives to a worthless end
And smells the death of a million dead
That will never know a peaceful rest
And tastes the tears of all the women
Who will never see their men again
