War Poem by Nancy Nalbandian

War

Rating: 4.5

Mind and heart once waged a war.
In the battlefield, the heart was swollen with sorrow and was made sore.
The mind forced its tactics and exercised its intellectual code.
And society was overjoyed, because
Sentimental warriors were never anticipated to attain triumph in a war.

Those braves knights, that wage war in the name of love, return with dented armor. It is said they are the more valiant, for having faced the battle and fought to save love...much more so than those suited up, shining, on the proverbial white steed. Very much enjoyed your write!
