Robert Green

WAR.

He took his camera to war
To record what he saw
Not what war was about
But what war is.

In secret he took a snap shot
Of comrades dead, a lot.
It’s not what war is about
But what war is.

I like the articulation of the poem. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
