War. Poem by Robert Green

War.

Rating: 4.5

He took his camera to war
To record what he saw
Not what war was about
But what war is.

In secret he took a snap shot
Of comrades dead, a lot.
It’s not what war is about
But what war is.

He took his camera to capture the realities of war. War, some people argue, sometimes serve negative good. The reality is that destructive means cannot bring about constructive ends. I like the articulation of the poem. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
