Lydia Stephenson

War Poem - Poem by Lydia Stephenson

The deafening roar of women's cry,
As men marched home in turn.
Innocent boys left to die,
Only hero men return.
Bewildered, broken and bandaged up
Who's for the game? Who's for the fun?
