Warmth From A Friend Poem by John Hazon Palen

Warmth From A Friend

Rating: 5.0

The rain tonight ain’t stopping.
Cold winds are blowing.
I’ll leave my window open.
Thoughts about you come burning..

You’re a treasure I can’t trade,
Like my soul and faith.
In my mind you’ll never fade.
Great moments we made..

You gave me love all those years,
Helped me build my dreams.
Now I got nothing to fear.
This warmth reigns supreme..

The whole town is slumbering.
My diary’s just filled.
I’m thanking God we were friends.
My coldness was killed.
