Warning Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Warning

Warning

"Ring the bell."
The sign says on side of four-o-one
Its sound buzz of the bees
Door opens, eyes are shocked
There's a bomb

Aphrodite of Greeks
Romans Venus; Anahita of Persia
Athena and Helen, the Monroe, Raquel Welch
All dead cold; in the morgue
She's flesh; she breathes

She is milk and honey
The Muslims' Promised maid
She is a bomb and ticks tacks
Her smile opens; writes:
O-O-Seven
