Warning You Poem by Randy McClave

Warning You

Did you not see me waving at you
That day when you were walking by
You quickly walked away and ignored me
And you didn't even say goodbye
But what I was doing I was trying to warn you
It had nothing to do with my honor or pride
I wanted to tell you about the hole in front of you
But you didn't see it, so you fell in, and you died.
