'Warrior Women......' (My Breast Cancer Tribute) Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

'Warrior Women......' (My Breast Cancer Tribute)

Many women fought the fight we all know as breat cancer, some are still here and others have passed away.
Yet warriors are what their known as for just fighting that fight everday.
This is a battle many fight, all ages and races.
Some leaving behind small babies and many other mournful faces.
Taking their treatments doing all they can.
Yet not letting it get the best of them as warrior women they stand.
Going about their business as usual, rejecting pitty and grief.
For they know they're in the hands of an awesome GOD who's love is greater than any doctor's diagnosis yet in HIS word they hold great belief.
Through prayer and courage they keep on keeping on by any means.
Some you wouldn't even know have it unless being told, many find out as their reaching their prime and some since they were teens.
Through it all still they smile as their battle is being fought.
Showing love to several breast cancer warriors who've gone on, yet remembering all they stood for and taught.
So to all women out there, please honor our warriors who've gone on by being aware and getting exams done as regularly as need be.
You only have one life to live, as blessings of our Heavenly Father fall upon thee.

GOD BLESS OUR WARRIORS
