Was It Because Of That Beuty? Poem by NENGOVHELA MURENDENI

Was It Because Of That Beuty?

I was a blinded dackned-soul
Then i lit my pain on fire
I never needed to though away the baby
But together with the water I did.
Was it because of that beuty?

I was pregnant and I decide
I was of kind to say I love you
but I wasnt supposed to
For i have the one i love
but you beuty, created a fotune smile.

Was it because of your beuty?
Was it because of that acid-smile?
Was it because of thy evilness?

If only i was there to know you
I should have never wasted my energy.

Was it because of thy beuty?
that I even decided to lay down my fear
Only to impress you, to depress my soul.
Putting my soul on acidic-hot water.

Was it of that beuty that I abort my one and only love?
that i love you nor hate you.
A great leason I have learned.
to all who want to learn. 'Its not that beuty that you see
some thing inside will suffer you.'
