Was It Ever? Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Was It Ever?

Rating: 5.0

What was love?
A wrinkled glove?
The painted nail
on fingers frail?

Was it ever?
She said never.
Benign rang true,
but then love grew.

Glad to see you are back to your more romantic clever poetry! There were a couple recently that seemed depressed. I prefer these uplifting 'sense of romantic happenings' one.
