Was It Me, Was It You, Or Was It Someone Else Poem by Colin Coplin

Was It Me, Was It You, Or Was It Someone Else

Rating: 4.0

I looked up to find you gone,
Sat and wondered what went wrong
I scanned through memories of the past,
For a clue of where our love was lost
Was it me, was it you, or was it someone else

I guess we all played our part,
Each complicit from the start
Yes, it was me, it was you, and yes it was someone else

Oh, how did we ever let it get to this,
A love that held so much promise only to end up hit and miss
How did we ever get to this, now all that's left is reminisce
Yes, it was it me, it was you, and yes it was someone else

I looked up to find you gone,
Sat and wondered what went wrong
I scanned through memories of the past,
For a clue of where our love was lost
I looked at me, I looked at you, I looked at someone else
