Waste - Handle With Care Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Waste - Handle With Care

Waste happens
There's no escape
It keeps piling up
As we move ahead.

Real progress
May be measured
By how we treat
And process waste.

Let hazardous waste
Be treated with care
The rest be dumped
Ignited or processed.

Minimize all waste
A doctrine to follow
Reuse where applicable
Recycle if possible.

Managing waste
In industry or home
Is our responsibility
Not to be taken lightly.

Let air we breathe
Be clean as a whistle
Let water we drink
Be pure as a crystal
Let sand on beaches
Be white as snow
Let green trees
Survive and grow.
