Wastelands Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Wastelands

You are of a higher heights than your colleagues but,
I will drink the bitter water when you fail to love me;
For there are more wastelands without hope around me and,
I will rejoice and listen to the works of my hands.
Do not approach a menstrual woman and live clean,
For the earth do not understand this rule arouns us!
And like a king in power who dictates to lead many.
