Wasting (Children's Poem) Poem by Hsiu Lee

Wasting (Children's Poem)

Rain mother!
Are you too busy washing clothes
And forgetting to turn the faucet off?

Sun father!
Don’t you want to save your light?
It is too bright for me today.

Winter uncle! You are so silly!
The weather is cold enough
But you still turn on your air conditioner.

Typhoon uncle! You are also crazy!
A soft breeze is comfortable
But you still want to turn on your biggest and strongest fan

You all really waste a lot of energy!
After my teacher taught me only once
I know the right way to save.
