Watched Poem by Josephine Chifundo Likoya

Watched

When nobody is looking
Things done seem secrets
No one around but you
Yes, nobody else knows
You are doing it alone

So pleasing how the world
reveals things done in secret
Yes, nobody was looking
You were alone
But how did the world know?
Say the world did not know
Why troubled in mind?

In every hidden thing
There is a hidden watcher
Every little secret
There is a secret watcher
Every time we hide
They is a hidden seer
Think of what you are doing
Can it be good when watched?
Somebody out there is always looking
