Watching Wanda Walk Poem by Rev. Rebecca Guile Hudson

Watching Wanda Walk

Rating: 4.5

She walks out
toward the sky and sun
setting
on her path
through rows and rows of
sun-flower stars
amidst the green and dreamy
deep alfalfa fields

Her heeling
alpha wolfling
accompanies her in harmony
with a tonal, canine canon
sung out from near and far

Dogs her every tired step,
across the healing,
matriarchal farm lands
of her planetary home
