Water falling, tumbling down,
Never stopping, ever flowing;
Silver white and pebble brown,
Rushing onwards, ever growing.
Trickling down a misty hill,
Velvet ribbons edged with lace;
Always moving, never still,
Springing forth with frothy grace.
Water bringing life to earth,
Waking flowers with raindrop kisses;
Shedding tears of brimming mirth,
as my heart stops, reminisces.
Let us watch the water fall,
Let us hear its ancient call.
