Waves Poem by Roland Houston

Waves

They come and they go,
here one moment then gone the next,
They give the ocean its mighty roar,
Surfers ride them to the ends of the Earth,
They slap you when its least expected,
Pull you under if your reckless,
What are these beast of the sea,
They are waves, sometimes as big as you or me.
