Waving To The Ugly Horse - Poem by Jeff Gangwer

On a dull, muggy Sunday morning,
We drove past the ugly horse in her corral—
A mangy filly—alone and lonely—
As she scratched about without passion or freedom

We waved to her from the windows,
But she didn't seem to notice

You leaned back into the shoulder harness
And drifted off for a minute—
Your face looking a little dispirited—
Sad because you waved and she probably didn't see you

so she really looked like a horses ass? just like all those new shorts the teens are wearing these days- the shorts are pulled up to their chests- they look like horses butts.
that horse was a jerk for not noticing you guys waved. i'd go back and toilet paper her stall. (Report) Reply
