We All Have A Story Poem by Ray Hansell

I’d like to write a story
Based upon my life
Tell you about my son
About the day I took a wife

But I think you might get bored
As I write all the details
I’ll have moments of victory
As well as moments when I fail

I’ll have plenty of jokes to tell
Some might even make you laugh
I have a whole lot of stories
That tells about my past

You might find it entertaining
You may well be amused
Or maybe you’ll just shake your head
Because you are totally confused

But now I’m having second thoughts
I now have changed my mind
I’ll do something more constructive
With all my extra time
