We Ate At A Exclusive Restaurant Poem by Gert Strydom

We Ate At A Exclusive Restaurant

We ate at an exclusive restaurant
where Chinese lanterns hang in the air
and there were filigree ornaments everywhere
that caught the eye
some flowers stood in black pots
and we drank sweet green tea
and you were in love with me
and the food were different
but very tasty
and outside the moon was rising
and filled the night
with her silver light.
