We belong to each other
Your heart beats in me
To live you breathe for me;
We see dream together
You paint them with sweet colors
I nourish them with our love;
You sing for me the song
I make from words you have
Woven into a string of joy;
We belong to each other;
I feel the pain of solitude
When you are away too busy
Finishing circadian chores;
You board the flight of mind
To reach me and take me
Into close embrace so that
I can have the fragrance of
Your hair in me till the time
The sun goes down and you
Run down to the edge of hope
To be with me forever because
We belong to each other.
