We Can Leave Poem by Poetical Analysis

We Can Leave

Born into a contract signed by treacherous love

Endorsed by the supreme corruption worshipped below as above

Kept with a key & twisted Locke behind the evil mantra Kant

The words in step, like a clock, make sense because they tic & toc their chant

For safety's sake & Plato's plot your parents function as their reeve

Every fiber of this vicious knot is to convince you you can never leave

They don't want your soul or your body, they want your very being

They don't need you to work or obey, they need you to never dream

This cage, this cube, is their most sacred spot

The most vile altar ever sought

They need you to stay, it's all they've got

While it is true you can leave; you only have one shot
