We Have Our Love Poem by Howard Michael Bricker

We Have Our Love

Rating: 4.5

Another day, another year.
And we rejoice without a tear
We have it all.
We have our love, we have a ball.
And our love standsstrong
AS the years move along
Seasons come and go leaving our world gray
Only love survives all on that final day.

The years move swiftly by.
Yet, you become more beautiful as each day passes
Your beauty remains younger.
Your smile brighter
Your spirit always childish
The leaves on the trees fall
The petals on the flowers wilt and dry up
While you are filled with the love of life
Remaining forever young
Because you love
Because you give
The only gift that is truly appropriate
Everlasting love

Beautiful train of thoughts, well articulated, subtly penned, and nicely encapsulated into a love poem. A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOR EVER - John Keats. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming piece of poetry. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
