WE LIVE AND EXPERIENCE

We live and experience
And in that experiencing
Feel life most intensely
And then that experience and life
Are gone
And years later remembering it
We live and long for that life that intensity that experience again
And in the remembering
And in the living and the longing
We again sense us and it all passing
And all
All the beautiful moments of our life
All the time we most lived and loved
Like we ourselves
Will vanish and go into oblivion
And so not only for ourselves do we grieve
But for that life
That life we have loved so much
Do we mourn
And long still again
For not we and not our lives and not our most intense experience
Nothing no nothing
Even the most beautiful of all
Will remain
But instead
Will vanish forever
As if it never was-
