We Live In Two Different Worlds Poem by Karin Holloway

We Live In Two Different Worlds

We live in two different worlds
too far between
to be of
And all the countless lullabies
sing love away
sweet hope delay.
It will rise again, that rhapsody
which spans the psyche sea.
Worlds will merge and thunder
will drown little sorrows.
Aliens, disarmed, 'sans' analysis
will twine
Become together
again.
And you, my love, on your asteroid,
small pitted rock,
Shall miss my supernova.
