We'Ll All Meet In Cullen Poem by Francis Duggan

We'Ll All Meet In Cullen

We've not seen much sunshine since tenth day of May
And it has been the worst Summer for making hay
But God is much kinder the old fellow say
And we'll all meet in Cullen on Latiarian day.

Dark rain clouds are gathering in the mid morning sky
And Araglen river is flowing bank high
But things will get better 'we only can pray'
And we'll all meet in Cullen on Latiarian day.

They will come from east Kerry and from Knocknagree
From Kanturk and Millstreet and from Boherbue
And all over Duhallow you hear people say
We'll meet you in Cullen on Latiarian day.

We'll call to the pubs for the 'craic' and sing song
And with the old minstrel we will sing along
And we'll spend two months savings 'a small price to pay'
For a visit to Cullen on Latiarian day.

We've not seen much sunshine since tenth day of May
And it has been the worst weather for making hay
But god is much kinder the old fellow say
And we'll all meet in Cullen on Latiarian day.
