We Remember Poem by ritu gangele

when we leave our school
and turn along with life
we miss all the times and we cry
our pranks and bunks and our friends
we move along with the memories of them.

the special night talks we had with our friends
the giggles and laughs that we can never forget
we cherish those moments
and leave our footprints behind.

the friendly ifghts solved within minutes
and the unslept nights full of fun
is what we can remember as they are gone.
studies and exams as they came on our head
not prepared and we gave all of them
seeing our grades those faces we made
is all that i can remember
those moments when we all were same.

those red eyes with tears full
wiped by friends when your heart was torn
those consoling words and a loving hug
is what i miss the most
as now i stand alone.
i remember still the cute boys talks
strolling across their classrooms
just to complete our dares
those moments are now gone
as from a teen now im grown.

but when i look back on those times and laugh
dont know why a tears still drips off my cheek.
