We Should Be Ready Poem by Manonton Dalan

We Should Be Ready

Rating: 5.0

broken branches showing
now that tree are naked
to sun caress and yours
where is strong breeze
to knock all those dried
and rotting twigs hanging
maybe heavy snow fall will

ground is covered with brown
camouflaging deadly critters
who refuse to seek shelter
hibernate deep underground
maybe it's warm fall or them
hungry looking for food
for a long, harsh winter
