We Should Walk Through The World Poem by Shalom Freedman

We Should Walk Through The World

We should walk through the world
In the simcha of mitzvah
We should look to the good
And look up
And try to see blessing

We should not over-focus on our grief
And our sadness

We should go step by step
In gratitude to God
Through our lives

We should have less sadness
Than I have
And less thinking about the past
Than I have
And less missing of those no longer here.
