~We Were All Blind~

We were all blind
To the pain that she had
We were all blind to the
To why she was sad
We were all blind
To the tear in her heart
We were all blind
To why she made black art
We were all blind
To the sadness in her voice
We were all blind
That one day she would make the choice
But as we got older she got deeper in her hole
And we were still blind
To the untrue nature of her soul

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
