We Will Become A Legend Poem by Piotr Kasjas

Darkness enveloped our souls
and stings the eyes like a sleepless night.
Submerged in the hot ocean of mouths,
we entangle our flexible bodies
in the rhythm of sleepless melody of two hearts.

Trapped in a flowing drop of time we approach the sky,
acquiring the flavour of wine and tender touch.
And with every scream, every whisper,
devours us the predatory feeling,
hidden in the soft sweetness of the lips.

And before we subside into tiredness,
before the lazy everyday life returns,
we’ll become a legend
- a prophetic dream, the fulfilment of the dreams.
