Weakness For You Poem by Maddie 'Rae' Berry

Weakness For You

I will never get him and I can't even try.
Because I know that he’ll just walk on by,
not even looking at me in the eye, like I’m not there.
Why should he care?
I’m not her but life would be so much better if I was forever his.
Instead of the deformity, which is me?
An ugly girl for the world to see,
for being beautiful, was something that I was not meant to be.
Maybe that why he can't see as it separates his girl from me
Can’t he get the clue?
Can’t you get this clue?
I’ve been through hell for my weakness for you.
