Weavings Poem by Clark Ashton Smith

Weavings

Cast to the world, and lost forever,
And over the heavens drawn again-
Lightly woven and broken ever-
Endless gossamers of rain
Shimmer and vanish, seeking ever
To veil the world and the skies in vain.

Out from the twilight valleys risen,
Over the heavens' windless gleam,
Slowly a woven calm is risen,
Bordered with the sunset-beam;
And, lo! my unquiet soul has risen
From world and sky to the heart of a dream.

Very beautiful poem. Nicely written.
