Webs Of Wonder Poem by Farnaz Fari

Webs Of Wonder

We've spun our stories out
Like little webs waiting for drops of dew
They cross over one another and shine
In the morning green and blue.

Sometimes someone rattles mine
And I find it holding a gem
Of wisdom or even
A piece of mind.

In this solitary life
We weave webs together, pick out rhythms, we live
For moments of sharing whilst this
Solidarity keeps us alive.

And never will the webs run out,
No never will we relent.
For all that we lived for will appear only
In these tiny bare-threaded, transparent tents.
