Wedding Ring Poem by Heart Of Ink

Wedding Ring

Hi there, everyone
How are you feeling?
Today's another day
How are you dealing?

This world's an empty world
It breaks your heart just to sing
That I don't blame anyone for anything

Hi there, yellow sun
How are you shining?
Tonight's a lonely night
Without your silver lining

This girl's a lonely girl
She just wants to run away again
And I don't blame anyone for anything

I just hope she crosses paths
With one truthful, honest man
I just hope she makes it back
With a wedding ring

I just hope she settles down
With one truthful, honest man
I just hope she finds love now
Right where it stings

The minute it starts
No one knows where it's been
And it messes you up
But you know it's worth everything

The people it touches
Are the ones who'd never win
Would never be famous
She's average at about everything

I just hope she crosses paths
With one truthful, honest man
I just hope she makes it back
With a wedding ring

I just hope she settles down
With one truthful, honest man
I just hope she finds love now
Right where it stings
